Classics for Communion Series
"Classics for Communion" is a series where we welcome a guest instrumentalist to our worship service on a Communion Sunday. The guest provides music during prelude, offertory, and communion distribution, and also adds color to the hymns and service music. The guest artist for each service is a highly skilled musician from the St. Louis area. This wonderful series is underwritten by the generosity of Samuel & Eileen Glasser.2011-2012 Series November 6- Alvin McCall, cello Mr. McCall is a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
December 18- Carolbeth True, piano Ms. True is a freelance jazz musician in St. Louis
January 8- Megan Stout, harp Ms. Stout plays with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
February 26- Gerard Pagano, trombone Mr. Pagano is a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
March 18- Katy Mattis, viola Ms. Mattis is a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
April 1- Diana Haskell, clarinet Ms. Haskell is a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
May 27- Timothy Myers, trombone Mr. Myers is a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
