Who We Are

Who are the people at Second? Our Mission Statement says it best:

The mission of the members of Second Presbyterian Church is:

to love and worship God;
to learn, teach, and share the Good News;
to affirm, by our deeds, our love for all people;
to be generous and responsible stewards; to strive for peace and justice;
to strive for peace and justice in our life together and in our world.

Dependent upon the Spirit's enabling power and attentive to the ongoing revelation of God's will, we endeavor to demonstrate God's renewal in ourselves and to promote God's work of renewal in all creation.
