Deaconesses

Known as the "Goodwill Ambassadors" for Second Church, this group of women meets monthly for lunch following Sunday worship. Deaconesses provide a valuable ministry of care and concern within the church family. Services provided include visiting those who are ill or in crisis, sending cards and notes for all occasions, attending funerals, delivering flowers and gifts, and serving at many church events.
